Google Scholar Citation has published report of the names of universities registered. In the report, it has been demonstrated that over (5804) universities worldwide have their names registered on the list. According to Google Scholar criteria, the university having over (1000) citation, will be added to their system.

It is worth mentioning that (28) Iraqi Universities are listed in the report, among which (11) Kurdistan Universities are topped. More significantly, the University of Zakho is coming at (24) in Iraq, while ranking (9) among Kurdistan Universities, having a total of (1331) citations. The university made a notable progress and the score of its citations have increased compared to previous years.
